We were out late last night helping friends celebrate 10 years together. It was such a lovely evening and great to be able to share such a happy occasion when has been so much sadness. It seemed fitting to wear a beautiful touch of Japan in the form of this Vintage Haori friends brought over from the Shitennoji Temple in Osaka. It was finished off with a Tie Rack Scarf, Esprit bag and very old cowboy boots. 
It has been such a terrible week for Japan, the devistation is truely beyond belief. On a positive note we have heard from our Japanese friends and thankfully all their friends and family are safe. My outfit consisis of a top I made using a Vogue pattern from Japanese designer Issey Miyake, Henry of Holland trouser found at Debenhams and Pied A Terre shoes.
There never seems to be enough time to take in all the history this fair land has to offer. Still I continue to make an effort one building at a time. The bit of history for today was Canterbury Cathedral and in one word WOW. My cultured outfit is a jacket from Bicester Village, H&M top, James Lakeland Cardigan and a skirt I made.
It is Friday and the end of the week, yippee. Bring on the weekend. There is definitely a chill back in the air, so for warmth I am wearing a hat from Hatz, a Malvin coat found at TKMaxx, Charity shop skirt and boots from Spitalfields Market.
Another crazy day of meetings and feeling rushed. Today's outfit is comprised of a River Island waistcoat, blouse found at a random shop on Oxford Street, the skirt is from my favourite online charity shop Oxfam and TKMaxx shoes.
For the past few moths I have been taking a sign language course, working towards a level one British Sign language qualification. We have had an assessment in class to see if we are on target, and I passed with flying colours. It is another 7 weeks till we are tested again, so plenty of time to keep practicing. Today I am wearing a Monsoon dress (found in a charity shop), trousers with a skirt I made and a Miss Selfridge jacket.
To top the whole outfit off I am wearing a necklace made from my mothers vintage 70's beads. They were a few left over from her weaving days and have turned out to make an fantastic piece.
There is so much to be said about this Aquascutum coat, but one word AMAZING says it all. Amazing Colour, Amazing Fabric, Amazing Style. It was an unbelievable find at Allders and is topped off with a Accessorize hat. It almost make me wish the cool weather continues for days to come.
