A Day At Napier Museum

I don't think I could possibly describe how hot it is today, hiding in the shade is the best possible idea. With that in mind we decided to visit the Napier Museum and take in a bit of culture. To keep the sun off my shoulders I am wearing a cardigan found at TKMaxx, an international range of necklaces from, India, China and England. The skirt I upcycled by making use of a pair of trousers from H&M (dark brown fabric) and a skirt from Thailand (tie dye fabric). Can't wait to get back to the air conditioned hotel.

India, First Outift

Jet Lag is a distant memory, so it is time to hit the streets and see what India has to offer. I feel there will be plenty of shopping going on, but I need to pace myself and not go crazy just yet. A bright outfit is needed for such a bright day and starting from the top I have on a Dorothy Perkins top, Miss Selfridge cardigan and La Redoute sandals . The harem trousers I made out of a great wash and wear fabric which is a must for travelling.

Must Get Packing

It is so exciting, I am heading off to India in a couple of days and need to fine tune my packing to make sure everything is ready....especially the all important medicine kit. Today I am wearing a top, Top Shop Cardigan a skirt bought in Japan, 1980's vintage shoes and an amazing necklace found at Spitalfields Market.

Exciting photos from India coming soon.

Spring Chill

With a bit of a chill in the air, I thought I would wear this jacket one last time before it is retired for the summer. The Primark jacket started off with a basic military look, which I cranked up to another level by adding a variety of silver buttons. I pulled the rest of the outfit together with a combination of market and charity items.
