This is the final day of February Capsule Wardrobe Challenge. I enjoyed making use of items in a very different way, like today's outfit where the long skirt was tweeked into a shorter fresher look.

I am all set for a romantic day with the husband starting with lunch at one of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants and then maybe a bit of shopping. The colour on the photo is a bit odd, very washed out, a few of the photos even had matrix lines through them. It looks likes after months of having troubles my camera has finally given up.

It is the weekend so it must be time for another Judy's Vintage Fair. This time it is their Kilo Sale where the price is linked to how much you buy, not per item. I have been keen to go for ages and today is the lucky day. So that I don't get carried away in the excitement I have a master plan and will be looking for a new dress and or items where I could make use of the fabric for a new creation. Let's see what develops

There certainly are times when I am so glad that I have the opportunity to work from home especially when London comes to a stand still because of snow. It is not all bad, the snow also gave me an opportunty to try out my new snow boots.

February Challenge

This year I wanted to approach my wardrobe in a different way, but with January flying by so quickly things needed to start today. Gok Wan's approach to styling makes him the King of Fashion, so I decided to follow his lead. A few years back on Channel 4's show Gok's Fashion Fix he introduced the concept of a 24 piece capsule wardrobe. Using that as a starting point I selected items that haven't worn recently and will see what outfits I can create through different combination and changing accessories.
