1920's Tokyo

The Candlelight Club's 1920's Sakura in Old Tokyo was just the event needed to make use of one of my Kimono's. I am lucky enough have quite a collection, compliments of Japanese friends. To give the outfit a 1920's feel I wore long strands of pears and Mary Jane style shoes from Clarks. The pièce de résistance  (if I say so myself) was my interpretation of a traditional Kanzashi head piece.  I make 50 individual ribbon petals and according to traditional methods glued them on 3 fine ribbons then attached to a vintage style beaded headband.

Lunch At Brasserie Zedel

Looking forward to another afternoon with the girls at Brasserie Zedel.
We had decided that there would be a Japanese influence, so I decided to wear one of my Haori's.  If you haven't been to Brasserie Zedel, I would highly recommend a visit.  It has amazing ambiance, 1920's decor and good food at the right price.
